New Albany Cub Scouts Pack # 83 |
|
| Den Leaders |
The New Albany Cub Scouts are made up of four different age groups of boys. These groups are call dens. Each den has its own name, depending on the age of the boys; the Tigers, Wolfs, Bears, and the Webelos. The Tiger's den is made up of first grade boys. The Wolf's den is made up of second grade boys. The Bear's den is made up of third grade boys. The Webelo's den are made up of fourth and fifth grade boys. The NACS (New Albany Cub Scouts) have very dedicated den leaders that devote a lot of time into the planning of the den activities and den meeting. Each leader has an assistant that works closely with them to assist them in any area that they might need. Each month the Cub Master, Den Leaders, and Assistant Leaders plan a meeting called a Pack Meeting. This meeting is where the parents, relatives, or friends can come and see what their son has been doing. Any awards or achievements that the scouts have earned are presented during this meeting. NABSA welcomes new boys (grades 1-5) to the pack. Our responsibilities as leaders and parents are to fully support a program that will help develop our children into young men of the future that we can be proud of.
